AJ is an American rock musician, and a former member of the rock bands Darkin and Troubled Sons. As a solo artist, AJ has received nationwide airplay on college and non-commercial radio with his singles: Egonomics, The Long Haul, and Hidden Blessings. The latter was also featured on Delaware Public Radio’s Hometown Heroes Show, hosted by Mark Rogers!

Darkin

AJ was a founding member, co-songwriter, and drummer for the Delaware-based rock band, Darkin. The band was featured on 93.7 FM WSTW’s Hometown Heroes segment, as well as 93.5 FM The Beach’s Local Produce show. Darkin was also a featured artist at the inaugural Indie Entertainment Summit in Los Angeles in 2012. The band has performed from coast to coast, including notable performances at the Young Muse Festival, the Jersey Shore Festival, and opening for the Blue Man Group side project, Kinky Rhino.

Troubled Sons

Frank and AJ, from Darkin, were also bandmates in the Delaware-based cover band, Troubled Sons. Joined by Jay Clough, the front man of A. Bach Sofrox, Troubled Sons specialized in classic rock covers, including their famed rendition of Do You Feel Like We Do by Peter Frampton. Troubled Sons played extensively throughout central Delaware, and was a recurring performer at Tom’s Bullpen in Dover.
