Darkin



AJ was a founding member, co-songwriter, and drummer for the Delaware-based rock band Darkin. During its run, the band was featured on 93.7 FM WSTW’s Hometown Heroes segment and 93.5 FM The Beach’s Local Produce show. Darkin was also selected as a featured artist at the inaugural Indie Entertainment Summit in Los Angeles in 2012. The band toured extensively across the United States, with standout performances at the Young Muse Festival, the Jersey Shore Festival, and as an opening act for Kinky Rhino, a side project of the Blue Man Group.
Troubled Sons



Frank and AJ of Darkin also played together in the Delaware-based cover band Troubled Sons. Alongside Jay Clough, frontman of A. Bach Sofrox, the group focused on classic rock covers, earning particular recognition for their rendition of Peter Frampton’s Do You Feel Like We Do. Troubled Sons performed extensively throughout central Delaware and were a recurring act at Tom’s Bullpen in Dover.
