AJ Elkins is an alternative rock singer-songwriter based in Wilmington, Delaware. AJ is known for crafting thoughtful, guitar-driven songs that blend emotional depth with melodic grit. Drawing from a DIY ethos and a strong independent spirit, AJ’s work reflects both personal introspection and a sharp awareness of the world around him.
In 2018, AJ released the single “Egonomics” under the name Kindergarten Dropouts, earning airplay on over than 40 college and non-commercial radio stations nationwide. Continuing to build momentum, the 2020 single “The Long Haul” received heavy rotation on WRFL 88.1 FM in Lexington, Kentucky. AJ’s most recent release, “Full Circle,” has expanded his international reach, with features on Radio Alternativa Rock in Brazil, Delaware Public Media’s Hometown Heroes, and a formal review by Gables Music Ventures.
